What if I have pets?
The MyPoppins team loves the environment and we love animals! But pretty please tell us if you have a pet in the comments section. Some of our Poppins may be allergic to animal hair. We can use all the information you give us to choose the most suitable Poppins for your home.
Are the Poppins MyPoppins employees?
We are an online platform that connects cleaning professionals (Poppins) with users who need help with household chores. The Poppins that collaborate with us are independent professionals, that is, they are responsible for their financial activity, they are not our employees. Domestic cleaning is regulated by the Servicio Especial del Hogar de la Seguridad Social, so the cleaning professional and user are responsible for complying with those regulations.
What happens if no Poppins accepts my request for a service?
Poppins accept or reject bookings according to the day, time, tariff or location of the request. If no Poppins accepts your reservation, we recommend you modify your search parameters.
Can I define the price I want to pay?
You got it my friend. We set the minimum price per hour depending on whether your area is in the city centre or on the outskirts of the city. But you, based on your preferences, demand and urgency, can increase the rate you are willing to pay so that you can increase the possibility of attracting the Poppins you most want.

Can I always have the same Poppins?
The safest way to guarantee your favourite Poppins is to use our #PoppinsAddict frequent service. Apart from this option, this will always depend on whether the Poppins accepts your request and conditions. If they don’t, the job will move to the next Poppins in line. If no Poppins accepts a request, the job will be cancelled.
I declare myself a #PoppinsAddict! How can I contract the frequent service option?
If you have found the Poppins of your dreams and have become a #PoppinsAddict, we suggest you use our frequent service option to ensure you get the Poppins you like the most. You can book your favourite Poppins on a biweekly, weekly or twice a week basis. MyPoppins will deal with scheduling and making sure your house is always sparkling clean. Not bad, huh?
Can I trust the Poppins? I don’t really like letting strangers into my house
We spend a lot of time validating our Poppins’ references. Our goal is to find the best match, we know we are the link between users and Poppins. All our Poppins undergo a stringent recruitment process that includes validating their references and experience in the domestic cleaning sector.
I might not be home. Can I leave a key out for my Poppins?
We suggest you be home for the first service. Meeting your Poppins and guiding them through the house on the first cleaning service is a good idea. Of course, you are the king of the castle and it's your rules.
Can I specify tasks that I would like the Poppins to focus a bit more on?
Yes, of course! On the same page you enter the day and time you would like to book your Poppins, there is a comments section where you can make certain requests which will be sent to the MyPoppins team and another box, which you can use to communicate with your Poppins.
What tasks does a general cleaning service include?
The general cleaning service by hours includes, as the name suggests, general cleaning but also ironing. When you request the service, there is a box for you to specify any requests and which you can use to send a direct message to your Poppins. Don’t forget that general cleaning services don’t include the exterior of the house or any gardens or large terraces. Neither are dry cleaning services or removing stains on sofas, carpets or rugs included. You can request for Poppins to clean windows as long as cleaning them does not pose a risk.
I don’t have an iron. Could the Poppins bring one with them?
If you include the ironing service, you must have an iron and ironing board at home. Poppins often use public transport (you have to respect the environment!), so they are not able to take any tools with them.
What kind of products should I have at home?
Your Poppins needs cleaning materials such as a broom, mop, grease remover and floor, kitchen and bathroom cleaners to guarantee a quality job. If you do not have any liquid cleaning products at home, you can ask your Poppins to take their own products. This request will have an additional cost of 4 euros.
What does extra product service include?
4 euros only includes liquid products. Remember that Poppins usually use public transport, and they can’t take basic tools such as a broom, dustpan or mops with them on the bus. For Poppins to provide the best service possible, you must provide these basic cleaning utensils.
On what days and at what times can I book a service?
There are Poppins available every day of the week (every single one) from 8am to 10pm.
What is the minimum number of hours I can hire a Poppins for?
There is a 2-hour minimum. We need some time to leave your house as clean as a whistle!

If your area is located far from the city centre, the minimum is a 3-hour service.
Can two people come to clean at once?

What payment method can I use?
You can pay by credit card on our website. Don’t worry! We have worked hard to ensure that the MyPoppins website is secure, fast and easy to use. Your credit card details will be completely protected. The MyPoppins team can’t see, register or store any of your details. We remind you that, even if you are using our payment gateway, your payment goes directly to your Poppins.
Ecological cleaning?
Yes! At MyPoppins we believe that taking care of the planet is just as necessary as having the house shining. Therefore, you can add an extra of organic products to your cleaning when making your reservation.
What means to add the extra of ecological products?
The ecological products are an extra that you can add to your cleaning service while you make your reservation at MyPoppins.
We will send them to your home by post. You will receive them in an envelope that includes instructions on how to use them. They will be available on our website until end of stock.
What makes ecological products ecological?
Our ecological products are water soluble tablets that contains the chemical properties that a cleaning product should have.
• Reduce the use of plastics, all in a blister: Goodbye bottles, goodbye to pollute so much, goodbye fights for who takes the turn of throwing the garbage.
• They do not contain artificial chemicals, which is beneficial for the health of the people who use them and also helps keep rivers and streams to be healthy and clean.

What happens if I cancel my cleaning service, but I already ordered the ecological products?
In this case, we are so sorry but…. we will have to charge you for the products. You will receive them in your home. Then will be able to use them in your next service or if you dare to clean up a little bit.
I'm not satisfied with the cleanliness. What now?
We regret to hear that. We want to hear your opinion so we can improve the service, a complaint is a gift for us. Please email us at contacto@mypoppins.com and tell us what the problem is. When the service has been completed, you will receive an email asking you to value the service. The email will also have a button that immediately redirects you to our Customer Service Centre so we can contact you directly about any issues you may have had. We value your opinion, so don't be shy!
What happens if any damage occurs?
Because the MyPoppins platform only serves to connect Poppins and users, we cannot be held responsible for what happens outside our platform. Even so, email us and tell us what happened and we will act as mediators to help you find the best way forward.
What kind of health insurance do Poppins have?
The Poppins, as any other person of Spanish nationality, European or with a residence permit, can benefit from Social Security healthcare. However, at MyPoppins we have also wanted to offer the opportunity to have private insurance so that they are even more protected! In this way, if they suffered an accident in the user’s home, they can go to the nearest private medical center. In addition, they would also count with an economic compensation in case the accident prevents the realization of their work.
What advantages do I have as a user when I take the extra health insurance?
With the extra medical insurance, you can be 100% calm because your Poppins will be covered in the event of an accident. Insurance covers any accident up to 12 hours after it 24 hours a day.
If a Poppins is damaged during the service. Can you go to the nearest medical or hospital center?
In case your Poppins were damaged during the cleaning service, he/she could go to the nearest medical center or hospital.
What other covers do they have?
The insurance protects the Poppins 24 hours a day, and can go to the medical center they want within 12 hours after their cleaning service. In addition, it compensates them economically in the event of a work-related accident as long as it occurs while offering their cleaning service. The covers included are unlimited healthcare in concerted medical centers, the guarantee of partial permanent disability (up to € 10,000), the total and absolute permanent disability guarantee for € 10,000 and the death assurance for € 10,000.
What happens if I cancel or change the date or time?
Contingencies are our speciality. You can cancel or change the date or time of your booked service with no repercussions at least 12 hours in advance. If you want to cancel or change less than 12 hours in advance, you will be charged one hour for admin costs. Cancellations and modifications with less than 45 minutes in advance mean the total payment for the service.

Can I book a Poppins for tomorrow?
Try it! It will depend on the Poppins’ availability. You can book a service as long as it is within the established timetable: 7 days a week (Monday to Sunday) from 8am to 10pm.
